Ongoing enhancements
As you may have noticed, we’ve been carrying out a major programme of enhancements to our website and there are more to come. We are listening to your feedback and our investment platform will continually evolve to ensure it meets your needs, so keep an eye out for tweaks and new features.
Latest enhancements
You can now manage your pension drawdown online
Many people find the prospect of entering drawdown a little daunting. It needn't be. At Fidelity we're here to guide you through it. Either call us or, if you already have a Fidelity SIPP, log on and use our new online journey to withdraw tax-free cash or take a lump sum.
Set up regular SIPP contributions from third parties online
You can now set up regular contributions for your pension account online from a third-party payer, such as your spouse or a family member. To set up, go to 'Regular savings plan' within 'Manage investments'. You can add a new payer or choose from the list of existing ones to start contributing.
IPOs & Placings
Whilst Fidelity does not currently offer direct access to participate in IPO/Placings you can, however, potentially use your Fidelity Investment Account to hold shares you acquire from such events.
Transfer Junior ISAs online
You can now consolidate Junior ISA investments from other providers online, and where we offer the same investments your child will remain invested throughout the process. This means they won't miss out on growth and income if the market rises during the transfer.
Previous enhancements

We have introduced a real-time SMS alert functionality that will send notifications to your phone when the status of your transfer request changes. This is currently available for Stocks and Shares ISA and Investment Account transfer instructions submitted online.
Changes to one-time code for login
One-time codes for login will now last up to 15 minutes if you’re prompted for one. This will give you more time to find the code from your email inbox. Additional codes requested during this period will not expire the previous ones.
Share dealing
Share dealing is now available on ISA and Investment accounts. You can invest into the majority of shares from the FTSE 100, FTSE 250, FTSE All-Share and FTSE AIM 100, investment trusts, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and some Irish shares.

Track the performance of any investment available on the Fidelity website using the new Watchlist. You can easily track the performance of up to 50 investments at any one time and purchase them from your Watchlist when you’re ready to do so. Adding to your Watchlist is simple and can be done in two ways; frstly you can search for and add an investment directly using the Fidelity site search bar. The second way is to go to My accounts > Watchlist. Please note, currently you can only create and manage your list once you are logged in. This list is separate to the Watchlist in the Fidelity iPhone App. Any changes you make on one Watchlist will not be shown in the other.

Now you can choose to have the money from the sale of investments paid directly to your bank account or into our cash facility where you can choose to reinvest it at a later date. This has reduced the average time taken to receive your money.

Income report
We’ve made enhancements to the income reporting on your account. Income reporting is now separate from your transaction history and you’ll be able to see how much income is paid directly to your bank account - all in one place.
