Director dealings: Centrica board member invests, Spirent CFO uses purchase plan
(Sharecast News) - Centrica found itself on the list of buys on a relatively quiet Tuesday for director deals, after one of its non-executive directors picked up almost 1,500 shares. The firm said Amber Rudd bought 1,485 of its shares on 25 July, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.
Rudd paid 125.4155p for each share, valuing the investment at a total of £1,862.42.
Centrica said Rudd bought the shares under the share purchase agreement they entered into with the company on 2 March last year.
Elsewhere, Spirent Communications disclosed a small share purchase made by its chief financial officer.
The company said Paula Bell picked up 74 partnership shares on 24 July under its 2005 employee share purchase plan, as well as 74 matching shares, on 24 July.
Bell paid 170.2p for each share, valuing the total investment at £251.90.
At 1545 BST, shares in Centrica were down 0.87% at 124.85p, while those in Spirent Communications were 1.18% firmer at 171.7p.
