Director dealings: Flowtech board members invest, Frenkel Topping non-exec linked to buy
(Sharecast News) - Flowtech Fluidpower was on the list of director buys on Thursday, after it disclosed transactions made by three of its board members. The firm said Roger McDowell purchased 300,000 shares on 30 August at 82.6p each, while chief executive officer Mike England picked up 60,470 shares for the same price on the same day.
In the third transaction, Annabel Brooke - a person closely associated with non-executive director Jamie Brooke - bought 115,000 shares for 82.6p as well.
Following the transactions, Flowtech said McDowell had a total holding of 1,050,000 shares, representing 1.71% of the company.
England meanwhile held 60,470 shares, or 0.01% of the firm, while Jamie and Annabel Brooke held 210,000 shares, or 0.34% of the company.
Elsewhere, specialist professional and financial services firm Frenkel Topping disclosed that Harwood Capital, as investment manager to North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust (NASCIT), had purchased 350,000 shares for 54p each.
As a result, it said non-executive director Christopher Mills, who is also a director of NASCIT, was now interested in 38,350,000 of its shares, representing 29.96% of the firm's issued share capital.
At 1414 BST, shares in Flowtech Fluidpower were up 7.83% at 91.55p, while those in Frenkel Topping Group were 3% firmer at 59.74p.
