Director dealings: Likewise Group CEO among recent share buyers
(Sharecast News) - Floor coverings distributor Likewise Group had a number of entries in the list of director buys on Monday, after its chief executive officer, a non-executive director, and two other managers made purchases. The AIM-traded firm said CEO Tony Brewer bought 109,550 shares at 28.48p each, while non-executive director Andrew Simpson bought 35,000 shares for 27.7p apiece.
Mainstream residential director Adrian Laffey picked up 21,250 shares for 28.48p each, and mainstream contract director James Kellett added 14,000 shares to his holding at a price of 28.48p.
Following the purchases, Brewer held 12.2% of the company's total voting rights, while Simpson had 8.09%, Laffey 2.79%, and Kellett 2.24%.
"As disclosed in the company's general meeting circular posted to shareholders on 22 June, the persons discharging managerial responsibility (PDMRs) are members of a concert party with other pre-IPO shareholders, which has been agreed with the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers.
In addition to the purchases by the PDMRs, the company has been informed that Stuart Large, who is also a member of the concert party, acquired shares on 8 July."
Likewise said the purchases were permitted by the panel because they did not exceed 1% of the company's issued share capital as at 8 July, and the concert party had not exceeded the highest percentage of shares in which it had been interested in the last 12 months.
"All of the purchases have been made utilising the proceeds of the company's maiden dividend, which was paid on 8 July.
"As a result of these purchases, the overall holding of the concert party in the voting rights of the company is now 34.10%."
