Director dealings: Ocado chair invests £0.1m, UP execs sell into family ISAs
(Sharecast News) - Ocado Group was at the top of a long list of director buys on Tuesday afternoon, after its non-executive chair spent more than £0.1m on shares. The FTSE 100 online grocer and warehousing technology developer said Rick Haythornthwaite bought 12,600 shares on the London Stock Exchange on Monday.
Haythornthwaite paid 794.01p per share, valuing the transaction at a total of £100,045.69.
On the selling side of things, household brand owner UP Global Sourcing disclosed two transactions made by its chief executive officer and its finance director.
The London-listed firm, which owns brands including Beldray and Salter, said CEO Simon Showman sold 46,500 shares from his personal holding on Monday for 130p each, for a total value of £60,450.00.
At the same time, each of his three children's individual savings accounts (ISAs) bought 15,000 shares for 130p apiece.
Finance director Graham Screawn, meanwhile, sold 61,072 shares from his personal holding on Monday, also for a price of 130p each, valuing the transaction at £79,393.60.
His own ISA, as well as the ISAs of his wife and two children, concurrently bought 15,268 shares each, also at a price of 130p.
