Director dealings: Safestyle CFO invests, Staffline interim chair linked to sale
(Sharecast News) - Replacement window and door specialist Safestyle UK was on the list of director buys on Tuesday, after its chief financial officer picked up almost 120,000 shares. The firm said it was notified that Phil Joyner purchased 117,932 of its shares on 7 August.
Joyner paid 12.88p for each share, valuing the transaction at £15,189.64.
"As a result of the transaction, Phil Joyner and his closely associated persons are beneficially interested in 189,090 ordinary shares, representing 0.14% of the company's issued share capital," Safestyle confirmed in its disclosure.
On the selling side of the ledger was recruitment and training firm Staffline, whose interim chairman was linked to the sale of almost 50,000 shares.
The company said it was notified that on 7 August, a non-discretionary underlying private client of Henry Spain Investment Services - a person closely associated with its non-executive director and interim chair Thomas Spain - sold 46,761 of its shares due to adjustments in individual client portfolios.
It said the shares were sold for a price of 30p apiece, valuing the transaction at a total of £14,028.30.
The shares were thus now outside of Henry Spain Investment Services' notifiable interest.
"Following the above transaction, Henry Spain Investment Services has a resulting notifiable interest in 32,242,750 ordinary shares," the company confirmed.
At 1549 BST, shares in Safestyle UK were up 1.59% at 12.75p, while those in Staffline Group were ahead 3.12% at 33p.
