Director dealings: Supermarket Income chair invests, GlobalData CEO makes £2.7m sale
(Sharecast News) - On the buying side of the ledger on Friday was Supermarket Income REIT, after its non-executive chairman invested almost £0.13m in the company. The firm said Nick Hewson bought 169,000 shares on 29 June, in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange.
Hewson paid 74.9p for each share, valuing the transaction at a total of £126,581.
Following the purchase, Supermarket Income said Hewson held 1,256,172 of its shares, while persons closely associated with him held 66,998 shares.
Together, Hewson and his close associates thus held 1,323,170 shares in the company.
On the selling side of things was GlobalData, after it disclosed that its chief executive officer had offloaded more than £2.7m of his holding.
The company said Mike Danson sold 226,319 shares, also in a single transaction in London on 29 June.
Danson netted 1,200p for each share, valuing the transaction at £1,715.828.
At 1417 BST, shares in Supermarket Income REIT were up 0.55% at 73.3p, while those in GlobalData were ahead 1.18% at 1,249.6p.
