Director dealings: WPP non-exec invests, IG board members exercise options and sell
(Sharecast News) - Advertising giant WPP was on the list of director buys on Monday, after a non-executive director picked up 4,000 shares. The company said Simon Dingemans bought the shares in a single transaction on the London Stock Exchange on 7 August.
Dingemans paid 820.1215p for each share, valuing the transaction at £32,804.86.
On the selling side of the ledger was IG Group, after a number of its directors exercised share options granted under its sustained performance plan, and subsequently sold some of them.
The firm said June Felix exercised options over 75,797 shares and sold 35,696 shares, while Jon Noble sold all of the shares he picked up, totalling 60,348.
Matt Brief exercised options over and then sold 87,786 shares, while Barbara Duffy did the same over 13,632 shares, and Svilen Ivanov picked up 47,476 shares before selling 22,358 of them.
Matt Macklin exercised 48,935 options and sold the shares, with Joe McCaughran doing similar with 82,453 options.
Finally, Katherine Whitton exercised options over 24,695 shares, and sold 11,630 of them afterwards.
All share sales were made at a price of 677.9212p per share, IG Group said in its regulatory disclosure.
At 1624 BST, shares in WPP were down 0.71% at 812.2p, while those in IG Group Holdings were ahead 0.29% at 690p.
